Rustic Modern Wedding Invitation

As soon as I met with Sarah and Matty I knew they were going to be an absolute blast to work with. Sarah is a doll, and Matty a comedian. Both have a terrific sense of humor that I really wanted to shine through in their wedding invitation. Getting married at the Montecito Country Club, their wedding was to be a combination of rustic details with hints of modern charm. Lots of texture, succulents and warm inviting colors of wine, brick red, grey, chocolate brown and dark teal

Sarah loved rosemary, so I suggested we tie it around the invitation to give her guests something beautiful to look at as well as lovely to smell.

Right, right, so nothing has really happened on here in what most people on and off the Internet would consider “a long ass time”. I’ve got no excuses other than I have been equal parts busy and lazy. How’s that for some truth? I try to keep things honest over here at the very least. If you haven’t already figured it out, my daily blogging has migrated over to Tumblr for the most part. The insights aren’t long form by any stretch of the imagination, but if you’re one of the three or so people not my mother crying over the death of LAS at least you can soak those tears up with some cashmere socks or whatever. Last night’s New York Met Ball was expectedly filled with glamorous A-listers competing in fashion-fabulous dresses for the best dressed crown of the night, but we’ve got to say, it’s the gorgeous celebrity hair that we can’t stop staring at.

Vision Street Wear, Spiked Creepers & Thigh-high Tube Socks in Harajuku

Here are a stylish guy girl we ran into on the street in Harajuku. Their Harajuku-meets-retro looks caught our attention right away when we spotted them crossing the street near LaForet.

The girl is wearing a white Vision Street Wear t-shirt with white cutoff shorts, stripe thigh-high tube socks, and shoes with tall wooden platforms. The guy is wearing a denim shirt, black shorts, and black suede high-top creepers with straps, studs and spikes.
